Who are North Devon Hospice?
North Devon Hospice provides specialist care to around 2,000 patients and their families each year who are facing a life limiting illness from across North Devon. Our services are delivered at no cost to our patients and their families by a highly skilled team of specialists.
Although many of our patients have cancer, we also care for people who have other life-limiting illnesses including motor neurone disease, heart and liver failure and COPD. Our patients and their families are at the heart of everything we do.
We want to continue providing the very best care to our patients and their families throughout their life limiting illness and we need the support of our local community to allow us to do this. We need to raise over £4.5 million every year in charitable income to keep providing this care and support. The North Devon Hospice Lottery provides after all the expenses have been removed including prize money, on average 61 pence in the pound to the hospice.
